3. Catholics and Protestants
What is the difference between Catholics and Protestants? This is a very brief discourse which simply answers the question.

Eternal Debate - Is YOUR Faith In Place?
Eternal Debate is designed to cast light over the falseness and antinomianism of Once Saved, Always Saved. Also known as OSAS, O.S.A.S, Perseverance of the Saints, or Unconditional Eternal Security. Our target audience is the antinomian and those whose faith is resting in the doctrine of unconditional eternal security, rather than in the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself. Discussion areas include a chat area and newsgroup type forum.

4. Christian Denominations
It is truly difficult to estimate the number of Christian Denomiations. For the purposes of this page - only denominations found in the United States will be listed. Even so there are potentially hundreds which could be listed. In order to be listed the denomiation must meet one of three criteria - 1. Have a reported membership of over 10,000. 2. Have been established at least 100 years ago. 3. Be of such a level of uniquness, controversy or influence that their inclusion is warrented. Note - In order to be considered Christian for the purposes of this page the denomination need only to refer to itself as being Chiristian. The author does recognise that this will include a number of denomiantions or movements which reject or do not adhere to historic doctrines of the Christian faith (ie. The Trinity, the vicarious atonement, salvation by grace, the inspired nature and authority of the scriptures etc.) Even though Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox are not denominations per se they are included, and schism denominations that are often considered cults and sects are also included.

2. What is Christianity?
This set of pages tries to summarize Christian beliefs and practices.

1. A very brief introduction to Christianity
Christianity is a religion basically founded roughly 2,000 years ago and based on the life and teachings of a spiritual figure named Jesus of Nazareth who became known as Jesus Christ (the annointed one), thus the root of the name Christian.
